Insurance Coverage for ABA Services
Connec-to-Talk is an in-network ABA provider for most commercial insurance providers, as well as Connecticut and Maryland’s Medicaid. Before beginning services with Connec-to-Talk, our billing team will check your benefits and obtain pre-authorization for our services. In order for ABA services to be covered by insurance, your child will need to have an official autism diagnosis.
If your insurance is not accepted by Connec-to-Talk or your child does not have an official autism diagnosis, Connec-to-Talk does accept private pay as well! Please fill out our intake form to begin the process.

Our Process
STEP 1
Complete Our Intake Form
Complete the intake form on our website.
STEP 2
Intake Phone Call
A member of our intake team will reach out to you to discuss your child’s needs and determine the appropriate treatment route.
STEP 3
Insurance Verification
A member of our medical billing team will verify your insurance benefits on your behalf to ensure your plan covers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
STEP 4
Assessment Request
One of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) will request assessment authorization from your insurance carrier. Insurance companies will require a formal diagnostic evaluation that indicates a child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (F84.0) in order to approve an assessment request.
STEP 5
Assessment
Once assessment authorization has been approved the BCBA will reach out to you to schedule a time to do an in-person intake assessment(this is different from a diagnostic evaluation).
STEP 6
Treatment
After the initial assessment is completed the BCBA will request authorization for ongoing treatment services. Once approved your child will be eligible to begin weekly therapy sessions.
