Benefits of Early Intervention
- Early intervention can help teach pre-academic skills like color & number identification, attending to instructions, tolerating transitions, and completing tasks independently.
- We empower children to self-advocate and create meaningful relationships with staff and peers.
- Early ABA can help teach functional communication skills which reduces the chance of your child developing challenging behaviors.
- When starting ABA services at an early age, the gaps between your child and their peers will be much smaller and more quickly closed.

Connec-to-Talk FAQ
What is ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy approach that helps children build meaningful skills by breaking learning into small, achievable steps. ABA assesses how a child interacts with their environment and uses positive reinforcement to strengthen communication, social skills, independence, and everyday behaviors. Instead of a one-size-fits-all method, ABA therapy is individualized. Data guides each decision so support can be adjusted as your child grows!
Is ABA Therapy Covered by Insurance?
Connec-to-Talk is an in-network ABA provider for most commercial insurance providers. Connec-to-Talk does accept Medicaid for Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina! Before beginning services with Connec-to-Talk, our billing team will check your benefits and work to ensure that your child’s services will be covered! Check out our Insurance page to learn more about our coverage.
