WHO WE ARE
ABA Therapist Near You
Connec-to-Talk is here to guide you through your autism journey — from diagnosis to a customized ABA Therapy treatment plan addressing your child’s individual needs. We have been providing Applied Behavior Analysis for children with autism for over a decade. Our trained ABA Therapists work with your child through ABA treatment plans set forth by our in-house BCBAs. These customized plans help your child gain independence, work through negative behaviors, develop positive communication skills and more.
Our ABA Therapy Focus
We work with your child to develop productive methods of communication whether it be verbal or non verbal. Our goal is to help your child develop positive communication skills that will be used throughout their lives.
Daily Living Skills
There are numerous benefits to helping your child learn daily-living skills. Not only will they gain confidence, but they’ll also be able to better integrate into their community. Our therapists help your child become more independent by working on skills such as hand-washing, tooth-brushing, toileting and more.
We help your child learn how to interact with their peers by taking turns, sharing and working towards a common goal.
Sometimes behaviors are disruptive, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate. Our BCBAs create treatment plans that aim to reduce unfavorable behaviors and increase desired behaviors through positive reinforcement techniques.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, and reading, as well as adaptive learning skills, such as fine motor dexterity and hygiene. ABA is commonly practiced as a therapeutic intervention for individuals with autism. According to the Center for Autism, ABA helps the autistic client improve social interactions, learn new skills, and maintain positive behaviors. ABA also helps transfer skills and behavior from one situation to another, controlling situations where negative behaviors arise and minimizing negative behaviors.
Do you provide in-home ABA Therapy?
Our trained therapists are available to work with your child in their home to reinforce skills learned during therapy sessions as part of everyday living. They can also provide personal assistance with problematic behavior during daily living activities at home (e.g. toilet training, getting dressed, brushing teeth, riding appropriately in the car, etc.)
Are ABA services covered by health insurance?

Intake Phone Call
A member of our intake team will reach out to you to discuss your child’s needs and determine the appropriate treatment route.
A member of our medical billing team will verify your insurance benefits on your behalf to ensure your plan covers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
One of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) will request assessment authorization from your insurance carrier. Insurance companies will require a formal diagnostic evaluation that indicates a child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (F84.0) in order to approve an assessment request. If your child does not have formal diagnosis please contact a diagnostician in your local area.
Once assessment authorization has been approved the BCBA will reach out to you to schedule a time to do an in-person intake assessment(this is different from a diagnostic evaluation).
After the initial assessment is completed the BCBA will request authorization for ongoing treatment services. Once approved your child will be eligible to begin weekly therapy sessions.
