Connec-to-Talk's ABA Clinic Approach
Happy New Year! Connec-to-Talk is starting 2026 right by educating inquiring parents on the benefits of Clinic-based ABA Therapy! Connec-to-Talk is proud to offer ABA services in several settings – community, school, or home for example. We believe most strongly, however, in the advantages of clinic-based ABA services. In-clinic ABA services offers a host of benefits, including:
- A dedicated opportunity for peer interactions and successful socialization led by our trained staff
- A structured environment, free of the distractions of everyday life (TVs, tablets, etc.)
- More opportunities for session coverage if your child’s therapist is out
- An environment designed for progress, with different spaces dedicated to specific activities
Connec-to-Talk’s model is focused on preparing young children with the skills they need for a successful transition into school. While a tremendous amount of work goes into building those foundational skills, Connec-to-Talk believes that children learn most effectively through play. Our clinics are designed to nurture children and make a play-based learning approach possible.
- Each clinic is equipped with a sensory gym, providing a safe yet engaging exercise outlet
- Each clinic has a dedicated craft/art space, encouraging children to participate in hands-on activities
- Connec-to-Talk features a new Theme Week each month, ensuring that the children have fresh, yet topical activities to participate in
- Most importantly, our clinics feature opportunities for group activities, similar to what children will eventually do in schools
Taking the step to enrolling your child in full-day sessions of in-clinic ABA services can be overwhelming. We address some common questions parents may be asking themselves below.
What if my child is already receiving Speech and Occupational Therapy? I don’t know if I can manage all that travel with my work schedule.
Connec-to-Talk welcomes outside providers into our clinics, including Speech and Occupational Therapists. Our ABA therapists can help manage your child’s behaviors, allowing them to better attend to their speech or occupational programming. Having a dedicated location for services minimizes transportation related strain on parents. It also allows parents to better accommodate full-day services for their child.
What if my child is in school and is only receiving afternoon services? Wouldn’t home sessions make more sense after they come off the bus?
The majority of our clients that receive afternoon services actually come to us through bus servicing from their schools! Speak with your child’s bus provider about setting the clinic as the drop-off point!
My child’s BCBA already comes to the home to check-in. What’s the benefit of the clinic then?
Although Connec-to-Talk offers ABA services across a variety of settings, the majority of our clients receive services in our clinics. That means this is where our BCBAs are centrally located and most often provide supervision. Having your child’s ABA services take place in the clinic results in more direct face-to-face time with the BCBA overseeing the case.
We would love to talk with you about how full-day in-clinic ABA services can help your child with autism! If you are ready to take the next step in enrollment, please give us a call at 475-289-5336 or fill out our intake form.
