2022: a year of challenges, accomplishments, and lessons learned. Last year has provided many of us with life lessons to take with us into the new year, in hopes to transform into the person we strive to be. As for our families, we are so proud of the accomplishments your children have made in 2022, as we hope to continue to enhance their knowledge in 2023. Therefore, the ConnectoTalk team wants to reflect on 2022, and look forward to what is to come in the new year.

As for 2022, our staff has seen major successes in your children. Your child’s education plan at ConnectoTalk is a learning experience that requires time, effort, and patience, and we love to see the milestones they make! Although every child’s plan is different from the other, we have seen an improvement in each kiddo. We applaud all families and staff for making a difference in 2022. A job well done!

Looking forward to 2023, we want to provide our families with a mindset to keep when evaluating their child’s learning abilities. ConnectoTalk recommends that our families set measurable goals for their children for the year ahead. Looking at the smaller steps instead of the bigger picture will help us to recognize the importance of the learning process.

As for a parents new years resolution, try not to look at the end results. Every child can make progress in different ways. One action parents can take is to pick 3 goals for their child in 2023. We recommend talking to your BCBA to see if these goals are realistic, and if not, what are other alternative goals to make for the year.

Overall, ConnectoTalk wants our families and staff to learn from 2022, and ultimately help us plan for the improvements to be made in 2023. Focusing on the present stage of life and what goals are attainable will help families gain a better perspective about your child’s possibilities. This mindset will set the tone for the year ahead.

We are looking forward to a great year!
